Educated in France & the USA, he has been flying and teaching over 3 continents for more than 20 years. Hugues initially came to us as Chief Flight Instructor in 2013. When he decided to settle in Greece, the choice for the new Head of Training became obvious. He is a mandatory post-holder managing the ATO’s training as a whole and the delivery of its training programs, while ensuring compliance with EASA’s Part FCL and Part ORA.
He oversees the creation of syllabi, checklists, study guides & manuals and ensures compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) to achieve the expected level of flight safety, training quality and discipline. He has been recruiting and managing our team of instructors assisted by our CFI and CTKI, ensuring standardization and training performance. He also actively participates in the selection programs of our airline partners.

2. To supervise and manage the daily training activities of all cadets, in accordance with prescribed safety and quality principles.
3. To provide guidance to the flight instructors and ensure that flight training is delivered in an efficient and standardized manner.

He served in various positions in Greece and the USA as a line pilot, instructor pilot, standardization examiner, training squadron commander and other command positions.
As the Chief Theoretical Knowledge Instructor (CTKI) his primary responsibilities are:
1. To ensure the quality and effectiveness of the academic’s training course.
2. To supervise and manage the daily training activities of all cadets, in accordance with prescribed safety and quality principles.
3. To provide guidance to the Theoretical Knowledge instructors and ensure that academics training is delivered in an efficient and standardized manner.
