Egnatia Aviation has decided to introduce its new Integrated Airline Pilot Training program. We made this decision due to the large demand for the integrated option from collaborating airlines.

The program includes all the flight, the theoretical training and the examinations one needs for the commercial pilot’s license with Multi Engine Rating and Instrument Rating.

The course is specifically designed to address the Airline requirements and it is not just a simple EASA syllabus implementation.

The graduate will get an EASA license and airline oriented training, with which he/she can work anywhere in the world, without any additional conversion training.

The course consists of:
119.3 hours on a Single Engine Aircrafts - Diamond DV20 and DA40 (87.8+31.5)
68.5 hours on a FNPT II Simulator
28.5 hours on a Diamond DA42 Twin Engine Aircraft
MCC/JOC (32 hours advanced training in the Simulator)
Total number of training hours: 251.3
Up to 3 hours DA42 Aircraft Use for the Skill Test
Full Time ATPL Theory (classroom teaching, 828 hours)
All the necessary training materials including iPad, maps, charts, headset etc.
All necessary self-catering accommodation and transfers between accommodation and airport as an extra benefit to the student

The Simulator

Egnatia Aviation has invested in a new state-of-the-art Alsim ALX simulator. The simulator is fully operational 24/7 and has been approved as FNPTII and FNPTII MCC, in order to be used both for training (IR, MCC, etc.) and by airlines (recruitment sim check, SOPs, etc.).

Commercial Pilot’s License (CPL)
Make your dreams professional

The Commercial Pilot License (CPL) enables pilots to be paid for the services they are offering. To commence the CPL training you will need 150 hours of flying experience, 100 of which should be as Pilot in Command (PIC). You should also have passed the CPL or ATPL Theory exams and hold a current Class-1 EASA medical certificate.

For Multi-Engine Rating holders, the course consists of a minimum 25 hours of flight training in Single and Multi-Engine aircraft and Simulator.

The duration of the course is 4 weeks.

Night Rating
Be the wind that tames the night

Night rating allows you to exercise the privileges of your PPL at night. You need 5 hours night flight training, one of which must be solo. The training takes 5 days to complete.

Egnatia Aviation operates new Diamond DA40 NG aircraft with G1000 glass cockpit for this training course.

Instrument Rating (IR)

In order to be able to fly with a Single-Engine or Multi-Engine aircraft in controlled airspace and/or in weather conditions that require compliance with Instrument Flight Rules (IFR), you will need the Instrument Rating (IR). The IR training requirements depend on which aircraft type you are interested to fly and the license that you hold. For SE IR details and costs please contact us.

This package is for pilots who have completed ME-CPL training at Egnatia Aviation, or any other ATO, and it takes 8 weeks to complete.

Private Pilot’s License (PPL)
It takes a step to spread your wings

The aim of the course is to teach you how to fly a Single-Engine piston airplane, using visual navigation during the day. The course consists of 45 hours of flight training. You also need to pass 9 written exams, for which ground training can be provided if requested, and a skill test at the end of the course.

The PPL is valid all over the world. On a full time basis the course can be completed in 10 weeks, but it can also be done at your own pace on a Pay-As-You-Go basis.

Multi-Engine Piston Rating (MEP)
Make it double

The Multi-Engine Piston Rating (MEP) allows you to fly Multi-Engine Piston Airplanes with the same privileges as your PPL grants you on Single Engine Airplanes. Six hours of training with a Multi-Engine aircraft are required and it can be done in 5 days. A skill test by an examiner is required after the training.

For this particular training Egnatia Aviation operates new Diamond DA42 NG aircraft with Garmin 1000 glass cockpit.
