As part of the path toward a Commercial Pilot License (CPL), students must complete a total of 200 flight hours, including 100 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC).

During this phase, you’ll lease one of our modern single-engine aircraft to build your required flight experience — logging hours independently while applying the skills you have developed in training.

This is your opportunity to gain confidence, improve decision-making, and enjoy the freedom of flying solo, all while progressing toward your professional goals.

To begin with an hour-building package with Egnatia Aviation, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • PPL(A). For non-EASA or non-UAE GCAA PPL(A) holders, a license conversion is required prior to hour building commencement.
  • Medical Fitness: Hold a valid EASA/UAE GCAA Class II Medical Certificate before starting any flight training.
  • English Language Proficiency: Hold a valid EASA/UAE GCAA English Language Proficiency Level 4 (minimum).
  • Pass the check-out ride to be released for solo flying.

  • Modern Training Fleet: Fly with confidence in a state-of-the-art, well-maintained fleet of single-engine training aircraft.
  • Multiple aircraft options: Choose between two options of a single-engine aircraft to conduct the flight training in.
  • Flexible hour-building packages: Choose between shorter or longer-hour building packages.
  • Refresher training: Refresher training may be added to assist you in preparing for the check-out ride.
  • Student Support Services: Get help with accommodation, visa assistance (if applicable), and administrative guidance throughout your training.
