Hugues Carpentier
Head of Training
Educated in France and the USA, Hugues has over 25 years of flying and teaching experience across three continents. After joining the organization as Chief Flight Instructor in 2013, he became Head of Training upon settling in Greece. He manages the ATO’s training operations, ensuring compliance with EASA regulations, overseeing training materials and SOPs, and maintaining high safety and quality standards. He also recruits and manages instructors while contributing to airline partner selection programs.

With more than 12,000 flight hours and 9,000 instructional hours, she has built a distinguished aviation career across Europe and the USA over the past two decades. Having trained pilots at leading flight academies, she brings extensive international experience to pilot training and evaluation. Currently leading FSTD management and standardization at Egnatia Aviation, she focuses on maintaining high training standards, operational precision, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Chief Flight Instructor
With more than 25 years of aviation experience, including 20 years in the Hellenic Air Force, he has developed strong expertise in flight training, technical operations, and leadership. He has logged over 5,000 flight hours, including 3,000 as a flight instructor. As Chief Flight Instructor, he promotes high training standards and a strong safety culture. He also holds an MSc in Balkan Studies from University of Macedonia and values continuous professional development.

Chief Theoretical Knowledge Instructor
Born and raised in Kavala, he has worked as a lawyer for 10 years and served as legal consultant for Egnatia Aviation until 2014. Trained at the academy himself, he later gained nine years of experience as a Theoretical Knowledge Instructor and became CTKI in 2024. He is known for his commitment to continuous improvement, contributing professionalism, structure, and academic rigor to strengthen the academy’s standards and credibility.

Since becoming Chief Commercial Officer at Egnatia Aviation in 2024, he has brought over 17 years of experience in sales, marketing, and business development within the aviation and renewable energy sectors. He leads the company’s commercial strategy, market expansion, and strategic partnerships while supporting internationally aligned training programs. Focused on operational efficiency, problem-solving, and sustainable growth, he is committed to innovation and creating long-term value for partners and the wider aviation industry.

An experienced HR Director and Chief Administrative Officer in the aviation industry, she combines strong people leadership with operational management expertise. Her background covers talent acquisition, onboarding, payroll, performance management, employee relations, policy development, procurement, and strategic business support. She has successfully led initiatives that improved organizational effectiveness and operational efficiency. A four-time recipient of the HR Awards by Boussias, she has been recognized for excellence in crisis response, leadership development, upskilling, and educational partnerships.

Specializing in EASA compliance, he has successfully supported both the development of new aviation organizations and the improvement of established ones by applying industry best practices.
