“My name is Milea Nikolaos, 23 years old and I was part of WizzAir Pilot Academy in Egnatia Aviation Flight school and currently I am First Officer in WizzAir at OTP base.

Egnatia Aviation in my opinion is one of the best flight schools in Europe. The reason why? It is a flight school that is oriented for the airliners, for the big companies and is teaching their cadets according to very clear SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures). This step is really important because the next step of the cadet is to enter to a big airline and he will do his job ONLY according to the company SOP. Egnatia Aviation is making a really hard job on making flying with a small aircraft as much as close with flying a big jet.

When I started the type rating with WizzAir, every time I was subjected to grades „HIGHER THAN STANDARD” and the instructors where telling me that I don’t look like a cadet level pilot and is not because I am super smart or whatever, it is simply because of a very high standard training which implemented a very good „AVIATE„ part and large perspective for „SITUATIONAL AWARENESS”. Their Instructors are fantastic with huge amount of experience both in the flight school and ground school. I was a student in many other flight schools, but when I was part of Wizz Air Pilot Academy in Egnatia Aviation, the first feeling of mine was that this is a professional flight school and this should be the way of teaching how to fly SAFELY and how to think one step ahead.”
